Ismaily and Wadi Degla were eliminated from the Confederation Cup round of 16 on Sunday following their respective losses to Petro Atletico of Angola and the Malian side Djoliba.

Ismaily, who were held to a goalless draw in the first-leg last week, slumped to a 1-0 defeat in the second leg on Sunday.

Debutant Degla, who won the first leg 2-0,  were eliminated in the second leg after losing 5-4 on Penalties.

Despite the heroic performance of Degla's international keeper, Essam El-Hadari, who denied two penalties, his teammates lost three penalties, giving their opponents a precious opportunity to win the game.
