Ahly's football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz has praised the Burkinabe midfielder Moussa Yedan for his eye-catching performance during Sunday's 4-1 win over Meqassa in the 11th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League.
"Yedan is a very exceptional player. His performance levels develop match after match," Abdel-Hafiz was quoted as saying on the Cairo-based club's official website.
"Yedan needs to prove his worth with Ahly. He is simply hungry for football and wants more participation to advance," added Abdel-Hafiz, who played the leading role in landing the 24-year-old player from Cameroon's Coton Sport.
Ahly climbed to second place in Group A with 23 points, narrowing the gap with leaders Smouha to three points.
