The Egyptian national soccer team has reached an agreement with the organizers of its friendly with Chile to arrange another friendly against Jamaica which will also take place in London.

The Pharaohs are scheduled to face Chile on 30 May in a friendly as part of its preparations for the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

"Egypt will face Jamaica on 4 June after Chile friendly and the national team will return to Cairo on 6 June," EFA vice president Hassan Farid said on Friday.

"We finalised all the financial issues with the organisers as we received LE 910,000 ($130,000) and will receive a similar sum following the match with Jamaica"

Egypt coach Shawky Gharib opted for Jamaica instead of a World Cup contenders Belgium, Colombia, or Russia as he will be missing a key part of his squad with Ahly and Zamalek players playing with their teams in the African championships.

Egypt is hoping to begin a new era as they prepare for the African Cup of Nations in Morocco in July 2015.
