The Pharaohs played World Cup contenders Chile on Saturday and lost 2-3. The team will fly to London, but eight players from Ahly and Zamalek are set to return to Cairo to join their teams ahead of the weekend continental club fixtures.

Coach Shawky Gharib called up their replacements: Mohamed El-Shennawy, Ali Gabr, Ahmed Dweidar, Mahmoud Ezzat, Saleh Gomaa, Ahmed Hassan "Kouka", Ahmed Sherwida and Salah Amin.

Gharib, who was appointed the Pharaohs' head coach last November, is looking for his second victory as he beat Bosnia 2-0 in March before throwing away a two-goal lead against Chile.
