Pharaohs' director Ahmed Hassan announced on Sunday that team's left-winger Mohamed Abdel-Shafi is fit for playing on Egypt's upcoming clash against Tunisia in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Egypt will host Tunisia on Wednesday in the second matchday of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers (Group G).

Abdel-Shafi missed Pharaohs' clash against Senegal due to back injury, but Hassan came to confirm that the Zamalek player is fit for playing against Tunisia.

"Abdel-Shafi is fit for Tunisia's clash," Hassan told the Egyptian football association official website on Sunday.

"He trained normally with Zamalek during the past two days."

Egypt's coach Shawki Gharib has called-up the Zamalek winger to join the Pharaohs preparations for Wednesday's clash.

The Pharaohs coach was severely criticized after depending on right-winger Ahmed Fathi on the post of Left-wing during Senegal's clash to overcome Abdel-Shafi's absence.

After their 2-0 loss against Senegal, The Pharaohs are looking for a win against Tunisia to improve their position on the group.
