Egypt goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary was involved in a horror car accident but did not suffer any serious injury.
The accident occurred shortly after El-Hadary left the stadium of Sudanese club Al-Merreikh following the end of Friday’s training session.
He was driving on a main round when a car moving in the opposite direction struck his.
The car consequently swerved but El-Hadary eventually managed to control it to come through the accident unscathed.
The veteran 38-year-old guardian joined Al-Merreikh in the January transfer window after ending a brief and unsuccessful stint with Cairo giants Zamalek.
