Egypt kept has kept its 60th place position in FIFA's new world ranking, announced Thursday.
Failing to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations after losses against Tunisia and Senegal, the Pharaohs lost 22 positions in October's ranking.
The Pharaohs have failed to reach Africa's showpiece three times in a row. The side missed out on two consecutive tournaments once earlier, in 1965 and 1968.
The seven-time African Champions are now 14th in the African ranking.
Egypt made it into the world's top 10 after winning three successive African Cup of Nations trophies, in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
The team is currently searching for a replacement for coach Shawky Gharib who have been dismissed following the continental failure.
World Cup champions Germany are still top, ahead of Argentina and Colombia. No positions changed in the top 23. Greece and Ukraine, Ecuador, and the USA all moved up one position respectively to replace African four ranks slider Ivory Coast, that dropped to 28th.
Serbia became 38th after gaining eight positions while Zambia jumped 14 places to be the world's 46th. Rwanda also upgraded, to 68th position.
