Egypt have announced the dates of the two friendly games they will play during a training camp in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in October as part of their preparations for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
The Pharaohs are scheduled to play two friendlies in UAE, facing Senegal on 8 October before playing against Zambia three days later.
"As part of our preparations for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Egypt has reached an agreement with Zambia to play a friendly on 11 October in the Emirates," Egyptian Football Association (EFA) vice-president Hassan Farid told reporters on Sunday.
The seven-time African champions are preparing for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers where they will face the winner of a match between Sierra Leone and Chad in the first stage of the qualifiers.
Egypt are also contesting the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers and currently top Group G with six points after beating Tanzania 3-1 in June and Chad 5-1 in September. Egypt face Nigeria on 23 March 2016 as Group G continues.
