Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has warned his teammates that on-form Mohammed Salah is not the only Pharaoh they need to keep their eyes on during the upcoming match in the second round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Alexandria on Sunday.
'"Everyone is saying Salah, Salah, Salah but I don’t think he is the only player for Egypt, they also have other players," Badu was quoted as saying on Ghanasoccernet on Friday.
Egypt winger Mohamed Salah is heading to Alexandria in high spirits for the crucial game after scoring his maiden league hat-trick during as Roma's 3-0 win over Bologna in Italy Serie A last Saturday.
"He is a good player but we equally have good defenders who can match up with him," Badu added.
The Udinese midfielder asked his teammates to concentrate on the other players in the Egypt squad.
"We all play in Italy and most of our players know him," he said.
Egypt launched their Group E campaign with a 2-1 away win over Congo to top the group with three points, two ahead of second-placed Ghana who were held to a disappointing goalless draw at home to Uganda.
