The Egyptian national team arrived in Tunisia early Saturday ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Carthage Eagles.

The Pharaohs start the AFCON 2019 qualifiers campaign against North African neighbours Tunisia Sunday.

The Egyptian team started a preparatory camp 4 June, six days before the important Tunisia game.

The team is set to hold their final training session late Saturday at Rades Stadium that will host Sunday's match.

Egypt have been drawn in Group J alongside Tunisia, Niger and Swaziland.

The group champions will make it to the tournament stage in Cameroon in January 2019, along with the three best teams from among those taking second place in the group stage.
