Ahly's football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz has confirmed that all the teams' players are fit for the remaining games in the Arab Club Championship after the first-choice players were rested during the tournament's group stage.
Under the direction of coach Hossam El-Badry, Ahly's first-choice players were on vacation during the group stage games, taking a break between the end of the domestic league and the Egypt Cup in August.
"All the squad is fit for the match, but it depends on the decision of coach Hossam El-Badry," Abdel-Hafiz said.
"Resting the Ahly players will benefit the Egyptian national team," the Ahly football director added.
Ahly and Zamalek, whose players constitute the Egypt squad along with the foreign-based players, have been busy this summer, with the gap between the final league match and the Egypt Cup taken up with the Arab Club Championship.
Egypt play Uganda in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, meeting on 31 August in Uganda and again in Egypt on 5 September.
The Cairo giants, Ahly have been drawn to face Jordan's Al-Faisaly in the Arab Club Championship semi-finals on 2 August, while Tunisian side Esperance will face Morocco's FUS Rabat on 3 August.
