Arsenal's Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny said on Thursday the Pharaohs have a good chance to advance into the World Cup final rounds, saying he believes that there is no big difference between the teams in the group stages.
"All the teams have a chance to reach the second round," Elneny told Spanish newspaper AS on Thursday.
Egypt have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Russia, South African side Uruguay and fellow Arab country Saudi Arabia.
"There is no big difference between the teams in the group stages but the better of them in the tournament will reach the second round ''.
"We will eleven commandos in the tournament and we are determined to go far in the World Cup."
Asked about the difference between Pharaohs manager Hector Cuper and his coach at Arsenal Arsene Wenger the international midfielder said they have different tactics but both did their best to help their players shine in the pitch.
"Both helped me but Egypt's style is different to Arsenal's playing style but I have to cope"
The 26-year-old who sustained an ankle injury last week that will sideline for around a month said he is happy at Arsenal, adding he has no intention to leave the club.
Arsenal have signed Elneny for a long-term deal earlier this month.
and the player has expressed his pleasure over the new deal.
"I am very happy at Arsenal and I have no intention to leave the club. I like the Premier League and my objective is to be the Gunners' skipper one day." He concluded.
