
Egypt national football team players
Egypt coach Hossam El-Badry has announced a 26-man squad for the double header against Togo in the 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Pharaohs will host Togo in the 3rd round of the African qualifiers on 14 November, with the two sides scheduled to meet again in the 4th round on the 17th of the same month.
The final squad witnessed the absence of Pyramids FC's goalkeeper El-Mahdi Soliman, defender Ahmed Ayman Mansour, Gouna midfielder Akram Tawfik and Arab Contractor's midfielder Taher Mohamed Taher.
Under the guidance of El-Badry, Egypt were held to draws by minnows Kenya and Comoros in their opening qualifying games.
Egypt, record seven-time African champions, are due to continue their campaign in the Nations Cup qualifiers, but the final dates of the remaining matches haven’t been set yet.
Egypt to start their final preparations for the double header against Togo on Monday.
