Kenya were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw at home to ten-man Comoros in the African Nations Cup qualifiers on Wednesday, paving the way for Egypt to move joint top of the group.
Midfielder Youssouf M'Changama stunned the hosts with a 26th-minute goal before receiving his marching orders four minutes before the break after collecting two yellow cards.
JSK striker Masud Juma Choka drew Kenya level five minutes past the hour mark, keeping his country's hopes alive in the qualifiers.
Egypt are third in Group G with two points from two games and they will move joint top if they beat Togo (one point) in Cairo on Saturday. Both sides will also meet in Lome three days later.
Comoros, who are leading the group with five points, will host Kenya (three points) on Sunday.
