Egypt national team becomes 6th in Africa and 4th among Arab teams in FIFA world rankings

Egypt national team have jumped three places in the FIFA April rankings released on Wednesday to reach the 46th place, becoming the sixth in Africa and the fourth in the Arab region.

In Africa, the Pharaohs come after Senegal (22), Tunisia (26), Nigeria (32), Algeria (33) and Morocco (34), while they are in the fourth place among the Arab teams after Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

Belgium maintaned its position on top of the world rankings, in addition to France and Brazil, which stayed at second and third place respectively.

The Egyptians will play their next game in the beginning of June against Angola in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers; where they play in Group F which includes Libya and Gabon.
