In solidarity with Zamalek coach Hassan Shehata, Egypt Olympic team coach Hany Ramzy decided on Tuesday to omit Mahmoud "Shikabala" Abdel-Razek from playing with the Pharaohs in the 2012 London Olympics.

Zamalek management enforced a temporary ban on the talented forward, Shikabala, due to a pitch-side fight with coach Shehata after he was sidelined in the Maghreb Fez game on Sunday.

The technical staff of Egypt's senior football team, headed by American coach Bob Bradley, have decided to omit the Pharaohs star, Shikabala, from the national team's camp in Morocco following his angry outburst.

Earlier in January, Ramzy announced that he would select the 26-year-old Shikabala for Egypt's U-23 Olympics squad, since the rules permit three over-age players to be included.

According to Ahram Sport on Tuesday, Ramzy has changed his mind and decided not to call the prolific playmaker.
