Egypt’s national team assistant coach Diaa El-Sayed said the Pharaohs will hold a camp in preparation for the two games against Libya in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers on 28 September.
The team will also play a friendly game on 30 September.
The Pharaohs started their mission in the World Cup qualifiers by beating Angola 1-0 and drew 1-1 with Gabon to place second in Group F ranking, while Libya are in the lead of the group's ranking with a full mark of six points after winning their two games.
Egypt's next game is scheduled for October against Libya in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, where they will be playing in Group F, which includes Angola and Gabon.
"We held a meeting with coach Carlos Queiroz. He knows everything about Egypt’s national team and he told us about the tactics that he will follow in the coming games," El-Sayed said on television.
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) named Portuguese tactician Carlos Queiroz as the national team’s coach to replace coach Hossam El-Badry due to the team's poor performance in the World Cup qualifiers.
Queiroz will start his mission with two games against group leaders Libya in the qualifiers next October.
"Queiroz told us that he will be responsible for everything that has to do with the team's preparations for the coming games. He asked about Arsenal's midfielder Mohamed El-Neny, Aston Villa's winger Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan, and Ahmed Hassan Kouka.
"He also requested to attend all the games to watch the players from a near spot.
"I have become optimistic after the meeting with Queiroz. He asked us to work together to achieve our target," El-Said said.
Egypt are in the second place of Group F ranking with four points, two points behind leaders Libya.
