Egypt playmaker Afsha ready for Jordan game in FIFA Arab Cup quarters

Egypt and Ahly playmaker Mohamed ‘Afsha’ Magdy has participated in Thursday's training session ahead of Jordan's game in the FIFA Arab Cup quarter finals on Saturday.

The 25-year old inspirational midfielder missed Algeria game because of injury and was rested from trainings over the past few days.

The Pharaohs drew 1-1 with Algeria on Tuesday to go top of Group D courtesy to the Fair play rule. 

Meanwhile, Ayman Ashraf and Ahmed Hegazi who both picked injuries during Algeria game are still on their rehabilitation program. 

Also right-back Akram Tawfik has been ruled out of Jordan game due to suspension.

On Saturday, Egypt will face neighbor Jordan, meanwhile Algeria will face neighbor rivals Morocco.
