Egypt's Under-20 national team kicked off their friendly tournament in Ghana on Tuesday with a match against Namibia before meeting Ghana on Thursday.
The young Pharaohs are preparing for 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, which will begin later this month with a match against Kenya.
"Coach Rabie Yassin wants to give the opportunity to as many players as possible before naming the final squad for the 2013 CAN in Algeria," read a statement issued by the Egyptian Football Association.
The Egyptian delegation will be back from Ghana early Friday after wrapping up a two-week training camp in which they played a number of friendlies with local Ghanaian clubs.
