Egypt will face Belgium in a friendly game on Friday 18 November in Kuwait as part of the preparations of the Belgian team for this month’s World Cup.
The Pharaohs started a preparation camp on Monday in Cairo with the participation of 24 local-based players.
Egypt’s coach Rui Vitoria is yet to reveal his list of foreign-based players. According the Egyptian football Association (EFA) Vitoria will name his final squad on 12 November and the selected players will join the camp one day later.
But the call-up of the 27-year-old winger is almost sure as he has been a key figure for the Pharaohs since starting his international career in 2014.
Trezeguet played 58 games with Egypt Pharaohs so far far, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.
The former Aston Villa winger produced a string of fine performances in Turkey this season scoring six goals in 21 appearances on all fronts.
