Daniel Afriye put the Black Stars ahead in the 10th minute after converting a penalty, while Pyramids FC forward Ibrahim Adel leveled the score six minutes before the break.
Adel also missed a penalty in the 21st minute, as Ghana keeper Ibrahim Danland blocked his shot from the spot.
Ghana completed the game with ten players after midfielder Zubairu Ibrahim was sent off in the 44th minute.
In the second half, coach Rogerio Micale introduced several substitutes to test his players ahead of the continental competition.
Defending champions Egypt were drawn in Group B with Mali, Gabon, and Niger, while Ghana feature in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Congo, and Guinea.
The first three teams in the tournament will represent Africa in the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
