Egypt will play a friendly against Saudi Arabia next month in London, the Pharaohs assistant coach Diaa El-Sayed revealed late on Tuesday.

"We have received offers to play with Saudi Arabia, Libya, Uruguay and China," El-Sayed told an Egyptian TV programme.

"Until now, we only approved to play with Saudi Arabia in September," the coach added.

Egypt will meet Oman in a friendly on Wednesday in their first game since they stunningly failed to qualify for next year’s African Nations Cup in South Africa after a 4-3 aggregate defeat by minnows Central Africa in the qualifiers.

The seven-time African champions will not play any competitive game until next year when they face Zimbabwe in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
