Egypt has already secured a place in the continental competition after leading its group in the qualifiers.

With one match remaining, they are at the top of the group, having earned 12 points, three ahead of second-placed Guinea, who have also secured their place in the Nations Cup.

Meanwhile, Tunisia has also secured their place in the Nations Cup, as they are currently second in their Group J with ten points, six points ahead of third-placed Botswana.

Egypt lost to Tunisia 1-0 in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup in Qatar, in December 2021.
