The Pharaohs now rank fifth in Africa, trailing behind Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, and Algeria, and fourth in the Arab world, following three of the aforementioned countries.

The team's recent success can be attributed to their impressive performance during the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, where they officially secured a space at the prestigious continental tournament, topping Group D with 12 points.

The higher ranks saw shifts as well, with England replacing Belgium in the fourth position, and the latter descending to fifth place, while Croatia climbed to the sixth rank and the Netherlands descended to the seventh.

Morocco fell two places to 13th position, though they maintained their place as the top-ranked African team.
