Pyramids FC winger Adel received the coveted Man of the Competition award in recognition of his outstanding performances throughout the quadrennial tournament.
The 23-year-old played a crucial role for the young Pharaohs, earning the Man of the Match title twice, including during the final game, despite ending up on the losing side.
In the title match, Egypt suffered a 2-1 defeat in extra time against the host nation, Morocco.
Furthermore, goalkeeper Hamza Alaa was bestowed with the Best Goalkeeper award following his stellar displays. The Ahly keeper maintained a clean sheet throughout the tournament until finally beaten in the final game.
Morocco's striker Abdessamad Ezzalzouli secured the Top Scorer award after finding the back of the net three times in five matches.
The Fair Play Award went to the Guinea team for their exemplary conduct during the competition.
As a result of their performances, Morocco, Egypt, and the third-placed team, Mali, have qualified for the Paris Olympic Games in 2024. Guinea, on the other hand, will face an Asian opponent in a playoff game.
