The Portuguese coach stressed that he respects all opponents and will do his best with the players to realize the World Cup dream.
"I know the importance of reaching the World Cup, and I will do my best with the players to achieve this dream," Vitoria told the Egyptian Football Association's (EFA) Twitter account.
"To reach the World Cup, we have to collect the most points in the group. We respect all our opponents, and we have started our preparations now."
The Pharaohs missed the 2022 edition after losing to Senegal on penalties in the Play-offs and are now seeking their fourth appearance in the World Cup.
During his unveiling news conference last summer, Vitoria promised that the Pharaohs will be present in the 2026 World Cup.
Under his guidance, the Pharaohs produced a strong performance, having won all seven consecutive games.
