Egypt national team coach Rui Vitoria emphasized on Saturday that the upcoming match against Sierra Leone will not be an easy one, but that the Pharaohs’ goal is to win every match regardless.

Egypt kicked off their qualifying campaign with a resounding 6-0 victory over Djibouti, but Vitoria is wary of underestimating Sierra Leone, who drew against Ethiopia in their opening match.

"Tomorrow's game will be different and we know it will be difficult because our opponent is more organized," Vitoria said during the pre-match press conference.

"We are ready to face Sierra Leone or any other team. Our goal is always to win, not only tomorrow's game but against any opponent we face," he added.

Vitoria stressed that Egypt's focus is on earning their own victories rather than relying on their opponents to drop points.

"We seek victory in all our games to gain more points. We will not speculate on other results; we focus on our own performance," he said.

The Portuguese tactician acknowledged the challenges of playing away from home in Africa but said his team is prepared for any obstacle.

"The trip to Liberia was long and arduous. They tried to delay the match a day or two so that there would be a good time between the two games, but the date of the match was set and we must be ready," he concluded.

Egypt currently sits atop Group A with three points, while Sierra Leone began their qualifying campaign with a goalless draw against Ethiopia. Burkina Faso, on the other hand, was held to a 1-1 draw by Guinea-Bissau.
