Egypt to participate in inaugural Winsunited Cup in UAE

The Egyptian national football team is set to compete in the inaugural Winsunited Cup, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates in March, as confirmed by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) on Monday.

In an official statement, the EFA expressed their satisfaction in announcing the participation of the Egyptian national team in the prestigious tournament, where they will be joined by Croatia, Tunisia, and New Zealand.

The Winsunited Cup is scheduled to take place from the 22 to 26 March, with the third-place playoff occurring on the 25th and the final match on the 26th.

According to the EFA, both the Pharaohs and the Croatian national team will field their full squads for the tournament, enhancing the level of competition.

It is worth noting that Egypt and Tunisia are currently competing in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which is set to be held from 13 January to 11 February.
