Under the guidance of coach Hossam Hassan, the national team already kicked of its preparatory camp on Tuesday with the presence of 24 players.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), team skipper Salah joined the camp today to complete the roster ahead of the two anticipated games.

Salah missed the March camp in order to focus with Liverpool amid reports of a rift with the newly appointed coach Hossam Hassan.

Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy and Hassan later announced that the issues are resolved and Salah will join the team for the World Cup qualifiers in June.

The seven-time African champions Egypt currently lead Group A at the World Cup qualifiers with a perfect six points from victories over Djibouti (6-0) and Sierra Leone (2-0).

The encounter with Burkina Faso in Cairo will mark Hassan's first competitive appearance as the Pharaohs' coach.

The former Ahly and Zamalek star Hassan had previously guided the national team in two friendly matches during the Capital Cup last March, where they defeated New Zealand 1-0 but lost 4-2 to Croatia.
