The match featured Liverpool's star winger, Mohamed Salah, who played a crucial role in Egypt's 2-1 win.

"We had an incredible time attending Egypt's national football team's match against Burkina Faso at Cairo International Stadium," Klemtesdal shared her excitement after the game.

"It was my first opportunity to watch the Pharaohs play and witness Mo Salah in action. I eagerly look forward to seeing them perform in the World Cup," she added.

Klemtesdal was invited to the match by former Egypt women's national team player, Rama Gewili, as the Norwegian and Egyptian Football Associations have been collaborating for several years.

"The Norwegian FA has trained hundreds of women coaches, which has resulted in girls across the country actively participating in football. I have visited some of these talented girls, and their skills are truly remarkable," the ambassador revealed.

Since 2016, the Norwegian FA has been providing a comprehensive training program for Girl's Football Coaching in Egypt.

The program encompassed theoretical and practical sessions where Norwegian coaches imparted lessons on training methods, the fundamental values of fair play, and football principles tailored for children.

"This initiative presents a fantastic opportunity to empower women and promote the beautiful game at the grassroots level," Klemtesdal emphasized.

Additionally, from 2022 to 2024, football festivals were organized for 5,000 girls as part of the project. Last year, Norway's ambassador to Egypt attended one of these festivals, creating unforgettable memories for the children involved.
