The Pharaohs' perfect run in the World Cup qualifiers came to an end with a 1-1 away draw against Guinea Bissau.

Mohamed Salah's goal in the 70th minute saved them from slumping their first defeat in the qualifiers.

Hossam Hassan, speaking to ONTIME Sports after the game, stated,

"We didn't play alone, and it is normal to have a draw in a game. I always aim for a win, but if I can't achieve it, the most important thing for me is to avoid a loss."

He expressed his happiness with the team's result against Guinea Bissau and thanked all the players for their efforts during the game.

The coach highlighted his offensive approach, stating that his team plays in an attacking manner both at home and away.

He mentioned that they controlled the game against Guinea Bissau, especially in the second half, and played offensively in their home game against Burkina Faso.

Hossam Hassan explained that he has switched the strategy of the Egyptian national team from a conservative approach to an offensive one, and he is highly satisfied with the team's performance in the two games.

His objective is to help Egypt qualify for the World Cup.
