Salah and Marmoush join Egypt camp ahead of Mauritania clash in Nations Cup qualifiers

Four foreign-based players have joined Egypt's national football team training camp in preparation for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Mauritania.

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Nantes striker Mostafa Mohamed, Nice defender Mohamed Abdel-Monem, and Eintracht Frankfurt winger Omar Marmoush participated in the evening training session on Tuesday.

The Pharaohs will host Mauritania on Friday 11 October at Cairo staduim before facing them again away from home on Tuesday 15 of the same month. 

Egypt, currently leading Group C with maximum six points after victories over Cape Verde 3-0 and Botswana 4-0, aim to secure early qualification.

Mauritania and Cape Verde sit second in the group with 3 points, while Botswana remains winless.
