The Pharaohs are seeking their fourth-ever World Cup appearance, having previously qualified in 1934, 1990, and 2018.
A victory would further solidify their position at the top of Group A and extend their unbeaten run in the qualifiers.
Egypt currently leads Group A with 13 points, two ahead of second-placed Burkina Faso. Sierra Leon is third with eight points and Guinea-Bissau is fourth with six points. Ethiopia is fifth, with Djibouti at the bottom.
Head coach Hossam Hassan will continue to rely on the attacking prowess of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and hope Omar Marmoush will reproduce his club form with the national team.
Salah played a key role in Egypt’s 2-0 victory over Ethiopia on Friday, helping his side tighten their grip on the group lead.
“We approach every game with the aim of winning. The most important thing is to secure the points and stay on top,” Hassan said after the Ethiopia match.
Due to a muscle injury, Egypt will be without Pyramids FC winger Ibrahim Adel.
Hassan is expected to make a few changes to his team most notably fielding Nantes striker Mostafa Mohamed replacing Osama Faisal who made little impact against Ethiopia.
The coach has urged Egyptian fans to fill the stadium and support the team on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, Sierra Leone boosted their qualification hopes with a 3-1 victory over Guinea-Bissau in the previous round on Thursday.
The two teams have met thrice, each claiming a victory and a draw.
