Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez has been included in Chile’s squad for a friendly game against Egypt in Madrid on 6 February.

Other foreign-based players in the squad include Juventus duo Arturo Vidal and Mauricio Isla, Fiorentina’s Matias Fernandez, Sevilla’s Bryan Rabello and Real Sociedad’s Claudio Bravo.

Egypt faced Chile twice, the last being a friendly game in 1989 when the Pharaohs claimed a 2-0 victory.

Their first meeting saw Egypt beat Chile 5-4 in the 1952 Olympic Games.

Egypt are playing a series of friendly games to prepare for their next World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe, which will be played in Cairo in March.

They top their group in the qualifiers with six points from two games, three ahead of second-placed Guinea. Zimbabwe and Mozambique have one point apiece.
