Egypt will face Nigeria in the U-20 African Championship semi-final on Tuesday after the latter finished second in Group B after beating the Democratic Republic of Congo 3-1 on Saturday.
Nigeria finished with six points from three games, behind leaders Mali as both sides qualified for the World Cup, which will take place in Turkey in the summer.
Egypt finished atop of Group A with maximum nine points after beating Ghana, hosts Algeria and Benin.
The young Pharaohs won the U-20 African Championship three times in 1981, 1991 and 2003.
