Egypt U-20 beat Nigeria to reach African Championship final

Egypt maintain their perfect run in U-20 African Championship as they reach the tournament's final following a 2-0 win over Nigeria in the semis on Tuesday

Egypt U-20 forward Mohamed Abdel-Moneam, better known as Kahraba, scored twice to help Egypt reach the U-20 African Championship final following with a 2-0 win over Nigeria on Tuesday.

The ENPPI forward opened the scoring one minute after the break with a close-range effort after taking advantage of a Nigerian defensive lapse.

He notched his second of the night nine minutes from time, sending a super header home to score his third goal of the tournament and ensure Egypt's win.

 The young Pharaohs will face Ghana, who defeated Mali 4-2 on penalties in the other semi-final, in Saturday's finale.
