Egypt's national team started their first training camp under new coach Shawky Gharib as part of their preparations for a friendly game against Austria on 5 March.

The Bosnia friendly will mark Gharib's debut after he replaced Bob Bradley in November following the Pharaohs' failure to reach this year's World Cup finals in Brazil.

Gharib had previously revealed a list of six foreign-based players who would take part in the Bosnia match, before announcing the remaining 16 home-based players on Wednesday.

Zamalek players were not included in the squad due to their African Champions League commitments.

The White Knights will face Angola's Kabuscorp for a last-16 place. The first leg will be played on Saturday, with the return scheduled for 7 March in Angola.

Coach Shawky Gharib and his assistants have been closely monitoring the Egyptian Premier League games, hoping they can pinpoint fresh faces for the national team.
