AS Roma has reportedly reached an agreement to sign Chelsea's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah on a six-month loan deal for 500,000 Euros.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reported Friday that the two clubs reached agreement while an official announcement will be made after Roma's clash with Fiorentina Sunday.
The deal includes an option that allows the Italian club to buy the Pharaohs star next summer on a permanent basis for 17 million Euros.
Chelsea received within the last 10 days four offers from clubs either interested to sign Salah permanently or on loan.
A Chelsea insider recently told Ahram Online that Italian sides AS Roma and Fiorentina, Spanish champions Atletico Madrid and French Ligue1 club Monaco are all interested to lure Salah.
Roma are understood to have increased their offer more than once. Chelsea were believed to be asking at least £15 million to release Salah.
In January 2014, Salah joined Chelsea from Basel — with whom he had produced some eye-catching displays against Chelsea in European competitions — in an £11 million transfer deal.
However, Salah has made only six Premier League starts since then and played just 30 minutes of top-flight football so far this season.
Overall, he made 17 appearances with Chelsea, scoring twice and helping create one goal.
