The transfer saga of Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah is set to come to an end as the international ace prepares for a move to Italian giants AS Roma after completing his medical tests on Thursday.
After already undergoing the first part of his tests at the Policlinico Gemelli clinic, the 23-year old international went to the Villa Stuart clinic to complete the rest of the medicals.
Video footage and photos have been circulating on social media showing him being trailed by dozens of Roman fans cheering and greeting their new signing.
Salah arrived in Rome late Wednesday to join the Serie A giants after a month's worth of transfer-scuffle.
The former Chelsea winger excelled during a six-month loan spell at Fiorentina, which prompted the Viola to opt for the buy-out clause.
Salah declined the offer but Fiorentina still insist that they own the player's services.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan stepped up interest in signing the player. They were reported to be at advanced stages of landing him before losing the race to Roma.
The Capital Club is expected to announce him officially within the next few hours.
