Egypt winger Mohamed Salah scored a brilliant goal as AS Roma continued their preparations for the new season with an exciting 6-4 friendly win at home to Spain's Sevilla on Friday.
The 23-year-old Egyptian international, who was unveiled as a new Roma signing last week, also created another goal for fellow new signing Eden Dzeko of Bosnia.
Salah found the net in the 56th minute to add Roma's fifth goal in superb fashion.
He collected a neat long ball to hold off his challenger and break clear before beating Sevilla keeper at the near post with an unstoppable shot with his weak right foot from a tight angle.
He was substituted in the 61st minute.
Salah is expected to forge a fine partnership with Ivorian forward Gervinho and Dzeko, who joined Roma on loan from English Premier League side Manchester City this summer.
Salah kicked off his AS Roma career in convincing fashion, having bagged the opening goal in a 3-1 friendly win at Spain’s Valencia last week.
Roma open their Serie A campaign with a visit to Hellas Verona next weekend.
