Egypt striker Mohamed Zidan leads his Borussia Dortmund to snatch the Liga Total Cup by scoring the second goal for his side to beat Hamburger SV 2-0 in the final

Egypt and Borussia Dortmund striker Mohammed Zidan netted his team's second goal in the 2-0 victory over Hamburger SV in the Liga Total Cup final game on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old scorer, who wore the captain´s armband in the second half of the Total Cup final, made a superb appearance and lifted his teammates to take the upper hand of the game from the beginning.

The Pharaohs attacker is close to securing a regular place in Dortmund’s squad, as he did his best and netted twice in the team’s last friendly and scoring the Cup’s victory goal, earning coach Jurgen Klopp’s appreciation.     

FC Bayern Munich finished third in the tournament after beating FSV Mainz 7-6 on penalties.
