Egypt's Kouka ends goal drought to fire Braga past Tondela in Portugal

Ahram Online , Monday 18 Apr 2016

Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan Kouka regained his scoring form after scoring the opener in Braga's 3-0 home win against Tondela on Monday.

Kouka, who left the game at the 68th minute, ended a five-match drought as his last goal was against Turkish side Fenerbahce in the Europa league on 17 March.

It only took the Pharaohs hitman five minutes to give his team an early lead after meeting a swerving free kick at the far post with a direct kick.

Nikola Stojiljkovic, 47, and substitute striker Crislan, 73, completed the rout

The Pharaon's striker netted his 11th league goal this season to stay on top of his team's scorers list.

Earlier this season, Kouka scored once with former club Rio Ave before moving to Braga where he is currently the top scorer with 10 goals.

Braga currently lie at the 4th place of the Portuguese league table with 51 points, 23 behind leaders Sporting CP.
