Omar Gaber (Basel)
The right-back was kept on the bench as Basel beat Lausanne 2-1 in the Swiss league.

Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)
The midfielder was benched during Arsenal 1-1 draw with Tottenham in the English Premier League

Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City)
Elmohamady played the full 90 minutes in Hull's 2-1 home win against Southampton.

Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan (Royal Excel Mouscron)
Trezeguet scored his team's consolation goal against Standard Liege 2-1 but he received his marching orders on a second booking 10 minutes before time.

Mohamed Salah (AS Roma)
The Egyptian winger hit his first hat-trick in Europe after scoring Roma's 3 goals against Bologna.

Ahmed Hassan "Kouka" (Braga)
Kouka missed the game against Maritimo due to injury.
