Mohamed Elneny said he and his teammates are not bothered by any talks surrounding the future of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger following Saturday's 2-0 victory over Hull City.

Two goals from Alexis Sanchez, one of which was scored with his hand, earned Arsenal a workmanlike win over Hull and halted their run of two successive Premier League defeats.

But the result, which lifted them to third in the table, was far from convincing and did little to settle the debate over Arsene Wenger's future after days of uncertainty about whether he will remain in charge next season.

Elneny started on the bench before replacing Theo Walcott in the 69th minute to make his first Premier League appearance in over a month after returning from international duty with Egypt, who reached the African Nations Cup final before losing to Cameroon in Gabon last week.

"We don't care about any such talks, we all love Arsene Wenger," Elneny told beIN Sports when asked about speculation over the Frenchman's future.

"We are just focusing on what we want to achieve and we can compete for the league, cup and Champions League titles."

Elneny has made 11 Premier League appearances so far this season and has one assist to his name.
