Mohamed Salah (AS Roma)
The winger scored twice as Roma defeated ChievoVerona 5-3 in the Italy Serie A before being substituted eight minutes from time.

Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan (Royal Excel Mouscron)
The forward wasn't included in Mouscron's squad for the game against Kortrijk in the Belgian League.

Sunday 21 May

Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)
The midfielder was kept on the bench as Arsenal beat Everton 3-1 but the win was not enough to give them a place in next season's Champions League as they could only finish fifth in the Premier League.

Ramadan Sobhi (Stoke City)
Making a rare start, the winger played the full 90 minutes and was yellow-carded on 67 minutes as Stoke City beat Southampton 1-0 to finish 13th in the Premier League table.

Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City)
The right wing-back started on the bench before being introduced  on 72 minutes as already-relegated Hull City were hammered 7-1 by Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Omar Gaber (Basel)
The full-back played the full 90 minutes as Swiss champions Basel  beat Young Boys 2-1.
