Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum said on Monday that Mohamed Salah has given the team a lot of speed, describing him as a ''great signing'' for the club.
Since making a switch from Roma this summer, the Egyptian winger has scored five goals in his first eight matches with Liverpool in all competitions.
"He brings a lot of pace and speed! He is technical," Wijnaldum told Liverpool's official website on Monday.
"He is not only a guy who scores goals but is also a team player, trying to defend with the team and trying to let other players score.
"He's a great signing for Liverpool and he is also a good person.
The Dutch midfielder added that Salah's good relations with his teammates have helped him adapt quickly to his new surroundings.
"He has settled in really quick because he is a person who socialises with other players and loves to speak with other players, which makes it easier for him and for us to accept him," he concluded.
