Al-Taaowen's Egyptian keeper Essam El-Hadary scored a rare goal on Sunday during his side's 4-0 rout of El-Etifaq in the Saudi League.
He converted a penalty in injury time to make it 4-0 for Al-Taaowen, who lie seventh in the league table with 16 points, 11 behind leaders Al-Hilal.
Sunday's goal is the second in El-Hadary's long career. The former Ahly keeper scored a goal from his own half in the 2002 African Super Cup against Kaiser Chiefs of South Africa when the Cairo giants claimed a 4-1 win.
The 44-year-old joined Al-Taaowen from Egyptian side Wadi Degla last summer.
He was instrumental in Egypt's successful campaign in the World Cup qualifiers that saw the Pharaohs reach the football's most prestigious showpiece for the first time since 1990.
