Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan (Kasimpasa)
The winger started the game but was replaced in stoppage time as Kasimpasa suffered a 4-1 loss to Galatasaray in the Turkish league.

Saturday 15 September

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
The forward could not score for the second straight game but Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 to maintain their winning start to the Premier League. 

Ramadan Sobhi (Huddersfield Town)
The injured winger was left out of Huddersfield Town's squad for the Crystal Palace game in the Premier League.

Amr Warda (PAOK)
The Egyptian winger came in in the 69th minute to help his team beat Crete FC 3-1.

Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)
The midfielder was kept on the bench as Arsenal defeated Newcastle United 2-1 in the Premier League.

Sunday 16 September 

Karim Hafez (Istanbul Basaksehir)
The injured fullback missed his side's 4-0 win Antalyaspor in the Turkish league. 

Bassem Morsi (Larisa)
The striker played the full 90 minutes but Larisa Ael slumped to a 3-1 defeat by Panathinaikos Athens in the Greek league. 

Ahmed 'Koka' Hassan (Olympiacos)
The towering striker came as a second half substitute to help Olympiacos beat Asteras Tripolis 2-1.
