Egypt and Olympiacos striker Ahmed "Koka" Hassan celebrates his hat-trick (official twitter account)
Egyptian striker Ahmed “Koka” Hassan scored the first hat-trick of his career on Monday to lead Olympiacos to its 5-1 victory against OFI Crete on Monday and stay in sight of Greek league leaders PAOK.
Koka latched onto a long pass by Kostas Fortounis to double his team’s lead at the half hour mark.
Coming back after the interval, the towering striker met a fine low cross from Kostas Tsimikas with a sliding shot to make it 4-0 in the 46th minute.
He completed his hat-trick in the 60th minute by sending a rebound into the back of the net.
The 25-year-old has scored 7 goals in 15 games since joining Olympiacos in January.
Olympiacos are now second in the table with 51 points, seven adrift of league leaders and defending champions PAOK.
