Egyptian Aston Villa winger Mahmoud "Trezeguet" Hassan said that his team will be ready for the FA Cup final against Manchester City scheduled for 23 May at Wembley Stadium.
The 25-year-old winger scored the late winner in the second leg semifinal match against Leicester City in the game that ended 2-1, booking their seat in the final, which will take place at the prestigious Wembley Stadium.
"We feel confident because we are in the final after our hard work," said the former Ahly player in an interview published on the club's official Twitter account.
"I'm happy with my goal. But it also came with the aid of my friends, because they help me a lot," he added.
Trezeguet praised playing at home with the presence of the Villa fans, saying, "Playing at the Villa Park is always an amazing feeling, as they are great fans who always support us, and we always fight for them to make them happy and we will do everything for the fans."
Aston Villa are supposed to host Sheffield United F.C. at the Villa Park on Sunday.
"We will fight together, we and the fans, and we will get the victory in Sunday's game. We feel confident, and every player is now working very hard for Sunday's game to get the victory," he said.
Trezeguet joined Villa in the last summer transfer window coming from Turkish side Kasimpasa. He participated in 30 games, scoring four goals and providing three assists in all competitions.
